We operate on a sliding fee scale and provide medical and dental services. It is customary to pay for professional services at the time services are rendered.
Because we are a Community Health Center, patients may apply for adjustments for their charges by bringing in their proof of income at the time of service. All uninsured patients are encouraged to enroll in an insurance plan, and can do so with our onsite enrollment specialist.
We do participate in most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
We are able to communicate with our deaf and non speaking patients through text messaging, social media and through our website and patient portal.
Mid-Delta Health Center strives to provide services that will help our community to be healthier. The following services are free and are available to the community. We provide a Tobacco Cessation Program where a tobacco specialist will assist you in quitting tobacco with counseling and assistance with nicotine replacement therapy if needed.
Mid-Delta Health Center has an ongoing partnership with Legal Aid of Arkansas who provide free, non-criminal based legal services to patients of Mid-Delta Health Center. They are here the 1st and 3rd Thursday afternoons of each month and operate by appointment. They are here to assist the community with living wills, guardianship issues, disability denials, landlord/tenant problems, etc.
Insurance Enrollment through the Marketplace begins November 15 and goes through January 31. We have Outreach Enrollment Assisters who are available to educate and enroll the community in this important process. If a person’s income is below a certain amount they are eligible to apply for “The Private Option”, which has open enrollment throughout the year.
Mid-Delta also provides an exercise facility that is beside the clinic. This facility is open Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. We encourage the community to use the treadmills, recumbent bicycles, weight-resistance machines and more.
