Mid-Delta Health Center Position Announcement 

Mid-Delta Health Systems Inc. (MDHS) is seeking an Executive Director.

Mid Delta Health Systems, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit, community based, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Clarendon, AR serving a five county area in east central Arkansas.

MDHS is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to lead a stable and innovative health center that has been in existence for over thirty years. We are looking to replace our current CEO of 25 years with his scheduled retirement this year.

The CEO, reporting to the Board of Directors, must:

-Be dedicated to the mission and core values of Mid-Delta Health Systems

– Be responsible for the overall leadership, daily operation and performance of the organization guided by and in compliance with:

            -MDHS’s mission and core values

            -Federal regulations and the HRSA approved scope of project

            -By-laws, strategic goals and policies set forth by the Board of Directors

            -MDHS performance standards and accountability.

-Represent MDHS in the community and interact professionally and communicate adeptly with external customers, funding sources, the media, other organizations, agencies, and government entities.


  • Master’s degree in healthcare or a business related field, or BS/BA degree with five years’ experience in Health Care Administration.
  • Proven experience in an executive management role with a strong understanding of not-for-profit finance.
  • Strong collaborative / networking skills
  • Knowledge of center operations.
  • Knowledge of FQHC program requirements
  • Ability/experience in identifying and securing private and public funding.
